What line in the classical pirc is bothersome for you? I find that once you can get a ruy lopez or a philidor structure setup you'll be fine even if white has a small space advantage, and white has to play very accurately if they want to keep that space advantage as well.

No you don't.

You can always play the Barry Attack against the King's Indian Defense. It is 1 d4 Nf6 2 Nf3 g6 3 Nc3 d5 4 Bf4 Bg7 5 e3

Note: if 3...d6 then it is a Pirc /150 Attack after 4 e4 Bg7 5 Be3 0-0 6 Qd2 (at least if I remember correctly)
