If White, click the King, then click on g1 (Kingside) or c1 (Queenside)
If Black, click the King, then click on g8 (Kingside) or c8 (Queenside)

Man,this wasn't the best reply for a newbie, everyone of us started playing from zero and didn't know how to castle,or you born that you already knew chess rules?

Yea, besides castling on the keyboard is different that doing it by hand on a chessboard. Give him a break!

Some of them were hereditary. But that's not the point. "Newbies" ought to know the basics all the same. If they don't, they're not newbies.

You can't register with a chess site and then ask how you play the game. It's just plain rude!

Well, must agree with Bowmann here, for just this once though...
But my guess is Rask wants to know how it is functionally done. Then I'll say: go to Help -> FAQ.

Agreed. Every chess site has a different method for moving pieces, some you click on the piece and then the next place, some you drag. And I know one site that will automatically move you piece if there is only one possible move available. If he doesn't know the rules, still no harm in asking (except for having some jerk jump on you - sheez!).

I'm sorry, but if someone hasn't got the intelligence to figure it out then what chances do they have with the game itself?
