It seems like one needs a special talent for this.

Blitz is fun but it really deteriorates my game.

That's exactly what I'm talkin' 'bout.

I don't even have a mouse, I have a laptop so.

I played over 4 games and I have never won a bullet game in ICC today.

I don't know. It seems like blitz just kills my creativity.

I have a DGT board, and a mouse even beats that.

Not that there is too much of a delay between communication from the board to the PC (it is very quick!), but physically moving the pieces is slower than the mouse. Especially when you have to move your opponent's pieces as well. ๐Ÿ˜•

Needs good tactical sight, fast reaction, good intuition and also some training to play bullet well.

Premove plays a big role in bullet games. You have master it.

Bullet is so easy. Just move, move, move. If u calculate, you lose. If u start thinking long-term plans, you lose. If u see a good move, play it. Dont look for better ones. If u dont see a good move, play the move that appears to be least bad (a.k.a play the most natural looking move)

So...dont calculate, dont think, dont hesitate. Just MOVE!

I lose on time to the lowest rated ChessMaster opponent with bullet time. My best rateing in yahoo was 1485 or so playing 40 to 20 min games. Some people can just think fast.

That is easy for you to say.

I started playing bullet because I found on longer time controls, there were many people who acted like total jerks when they were losing (i.e. they stopped moving with nine minutes left on their clock). In bullet chess I never have to deal with people like that. And in bullet there is always the feeling that you're still in the game and you can still win it, or that a totally unsound sacrifice could work; plus, it's just cool when you mate your opponent in less than a minute. Just think about that ๐Ÿ™‚.

When your opponent starts acting like a jerk you can "restore down" the web page and scroll down or pull the web page below the task bar so you cannot see the chat. You can do nothing about the cheating like the restoring of their clock or their changing of the game settings or multiple draw offers ect.

I play on Uchess and there is a feature which allows for ignoring chat. It was just bothersome when an opponent was losing and he would simply stop playing so as to annoy me (or perhaps bore me into resigning).

What's your nick on the server? Come for a game or two. Sometimes the only way you can learn is to experience something.

I like bullet, but only in real life. My mouse is prehistoric, thus I hardly can play blitz on 3 min on my PC.
