Wow, I wasn't aware that this one was out of print. Amazon here in the USA still shows it in their system, but it also states a delivery time of 4-6 weeks. So they may not actually be able to get it. None of the other online stores I visit have it any longer.
If you don't get any offers here, I guess there's always eBay or the used book market. Sorry, you're not getting my copy, but at least I can comfort you by saying I won't be bidding against you. 🙂

Originally posted by sydsadI have it and i like it! I will add it to my list of good books in fact, i forgot about that. It is an excellent first book for the ending. Once i'd bought Dvoretskys End game manual Howells book seemed a little obsolite (DV's book is so comprehensive i sort of forgot about it) but what i have read has been well written. I think i'll revisit it.
I hear a lot of nice things about this book. It seems to be out of print though.
Anyone willing to sell a copy?
You might want to give the Euston road Chess and Bridge shop an email, i picked my copy up from there in the last year or two, so it's possible they may have one in stock. 🙂

Yep, the ones offered on Alibris (Circle7Books) is the same seller that is also offering them on his eBay store. So I guess you could get it via either route.
The seller is listed as being located in Elgin, Texas, which is just north of Austin, Texas.
Originally posted by HomerJSimpsonI think Amazon deals in second hand books (as well as new ones, of course).

If you have (or want) one you register it at Amazon and they try and put buyers and sellers together taking a commission. The seller (rather than Amazon) ships it direct.
I did get one book (on the Grob of all things) this way but it was at least 6 weeks before I was put in touch with anyone.
The 2nd hand book sellers suggested by Amazon is often quite good. I think they overcharge for shipping to Europe but that is something you just have to deal with.
I have ordered a few 2nd hand books thru Amazon. Thet "trick" is to order from sellers with detailed descriptions of the items. I think that serves as a quality mark.
