Originally posted by buckkyone thing that has helped me alittle is I force myself to play my move on the analysis board including my opponents next move. Then I play my move. I often break this but when I stick to it I make less blunders.
I play every game like it was a game of blitz. That's one of the many reasons my rating is so low. Maybe meditation would help.
It is an easy habit to get into when your opponents are moving quickly, try to play less games and against slower opponents. That way alot of the time you wont have a move to make, so to intrest yourself you can get the analysis boards out and try and figure what moves your opponents might make against you and what sort of a plan you have got.
Then after you get the hang of doing that, go back to playing more people again.
Originally posted by buckkyI was like that about 2 months within subscribing. I stopped entering so many tournaments and stopped making and accepting so many open invites. I also took every skull I could see.

That should help you with your rating problems.
Originally posted by buckkyYour rating seems to be improving on average, even with your "Blitzkrieg" style of play. I find the single biggest reason players stay below 1400 is because they make a blunder and give away a piece. Double check every move and your rating will improve dramatically.
