secondly, I've played rahim in the past, and he really is quite good. 2000+ rhp I'd guess. not to say cms doesn't have chances, as he obviously does, but believing rahim's rating would be even near 1600 with any game load is just a gross underestimation.
and regardless of the outcome, I'm sure rahim will give cms his due. I've seen him do it before, and I'm sure he'll do it again. all these fighting words mean nothing, they're just part of the game.

Ok, you guys got it? I can analyze a position for myself - I know exactly how I stand right now. I don't need you guys to come in and comment that 'Rahim threw away too many pawns' or that 'there's more to the position than meets the eye.' Those comments are both too specific - potentially that could help me or Rahim, in a pretty big way. Trust me, I've looked at the position enough times to understand it.
Second, I appreciate the support I've got, but Rahim's a good player - I can tell just from this game alone. He knows how to play chess, and he plays it well, I think he could balance my game load and keep an 1800 rating - but I think 2000 is inflated. Although, I do think some of Homer's comments are pretty funny - and some are quite accurate at the same time.
To McTayto - let me send a personal "F you" right your way. 😉 But I'm just kidding, you can support who you want. You're wrong about the ideas, but right about the time.
So let me reiterate, there's plenty of play in this position - it's critical that you guys don't comment. Critical enough that I'm thinking about refusing to check this thread so that the game stays fair - it seems Rahim isn't checking it. If you guys want to comment you can do it through PMs with each other, or wait until after the game. I realize you guys haven't said anything like "He can play Rxb1 and get a win!!" but you have made comments that I think border abuse, and this is a game I want to be played out fairly, whether I win or lose.
Finally, I lied. I'm not going to make my move tonight - I'll be away all night, so tomorrow will be the new move. You can check it with your engines (it's opinion of the position won't mean crap though) but keep your comments out of the forum, PLEASE.

You know that WWF reference reminds me of when I was a kid, this is back when you had all these regional federations, there was Championship Wrestling from Florida, Gordon Solie was the host, and you always had these stipulation matches, hair vs mask, loser leaves town, once there was even a loser will be tarred and feathered and hoisted above the ring. You guys could have added that angle to this match. Loser won't post for a month.

Well with all the attention maybe if the game goes out of book before a draw it can be recognized on other sites. One good thing that would be better is for both players to challenge to the end with no draws unless forced.

He mentions vacation days hmmmm me thinks this is going to be used by him and others to cheat their opponent from claiming a win in the agreed time limits. I always thought it was a bad idea
