Your "on the ropes" comment is, IMHO, commenting on a game in progress, and I think it would be prudent for you to refrain from such comments until the game is over. It's certainly ok to show a preference of one player over the other, but no comments on the game.
BTW, I may or may not share your assessment of the position, but I'm certainly not going to comment on the position.

I remember Rahim talking about charging for lessons. seems he might be calling on CMS for some lessons of his own. At least in Correspondence Chess. CMS says outright that he refers to books during his moves. He's obviously done his homework well. Most I've read says that being up a single pawn is often enough for a win. It's not commenting on a game in progress to observe that it's x3 on that rule of thumb.
