@Martin I was made aware, and did turn them off in hopes of returing to the original RHP. However turing them off did nothing.

Just out of curiosity; once you have turned off all the "show possible moves, animation of last move and all the others" what is it that you don't like?

The board is small, moves lag, I have turned off check lighting up king ect... basically I just want how RHP was lets go with 2 years ago. The RHP I was used to and enjoyed. Does that make sense?

I can undestand that; what I don't get are people complaining the board is too small when there is a slider to enlarge or reduce; I can only assume the grief is for people using phones or ipads etc; I use a desktop and have none of the issues mentioned by yourself or other members.

Anyway, sorry I couldn't help.

@Martin
No Problem, thanks for your interest. I do play on my PC / Desktop and the mentioned problems continue.

moves lag,
Do you mean when you drag the pieces, there is lag? (The piece trails your mouse cursor, perhaps?)

If so, can you let me know what system you are using?

Unfortunately,it is a fact of life that everything moves on.
Once things change,you can never go back.
Black and white films? VHS?
I suppose the ancients said "why do we need these wheels?.The logs we have to move things are perfectly adequate"
I'm sure Russ is trying to improve things with every new build.
There will always be "teething problems" which will be sorted eventually
It's just a question of getting used to it.
After a while,you will not be able to remember what the old RHP looked like.

@Martin
So I'm told, but I've never figured out how to do so and management has been unable to help me. Ideally, I want to go back to the old way and dispense with these new changes.

After Russ updated the site, I experienced the chessboard becoming very small (I'm using Chrome) and couldn't change it at all. Then I switched to Mozilla Firefox, and thankfully, the display returned to normal.

@Thamrin

Its good to hear Firefox is working for you. The change of browser should not be necessary though, so I would appreciate knowing what you are using to access the site. (What operating system & screen resolution.). If possible, can you let me know via site feedback so I can try to reproduce your initial problem.

Thanks.

@Martin
The slider, which is supposed to enlarge or reduce the board, doesn't work at all. The board still remains the same size, no matter where I put that slider.
The entire recent changes have made it very difficult to play on RHP.

If a **board (e.g. chessboard or game board) displays correctly on some browsers/computers but not others**, the problem is usually **not the board logic itself**, but **layout, sizing, or rendering differences**. Common causes include:
