This option works but only once. It is not a permanent solution.
I left it at that setting and completely logged off from the site and shut down my computer for a while.
When I came back online to RHP, my screen resolution was still set to 120%.

Anything more than 75% for me means that all the extraneous and useless information on the side will block out part of the board, but 75% is too small for me. There seems to be no solution. I want to go back to the old way before all these changes were made. That was ideal. I wish they wouldn't try to fix what isn't broken, because that invariably leads to trouble.

It is unfortunate that you have to leave. As for me, I found this site to be the BEST because I can play as many games as I want, has good statistics, and the ability to save games that I can cherish in the long run. Plus, this site is has initiated many improvements for the best since I started in October 2005! Good Luck!

I find that the latest "improvements" are not improvements at all. On the contrary, they make the site worse, which is why I feel forced to leave. The game board is very small, and there's no way either I or the administration can fix it. In addition, there's very little information on the board site, like there was before, such as captured pieces.

I have mine on compact too. You're right; I have no idea what a screenshot is or how to send one.
Up in the upper right of your screen is a button with your logo on it. This is the 'My Account Menu'. At the top of that menu is 'My Settings'. On that screen, choose 'Board Settings'. On that screen find the slider for 'Max Board Size'. Turn it up to your preference. You may have to try out a few sizes. Don't forget to hit the 'Save Preferences' button at the bottom before leaving that screen to keep your changes.

I have tried all of those. None of them work. I have contacted management. They have tried to help me, but they cannot.

Moving to lichess myself, the updates are horrible.
Personally I don't like some of the either and every one that can be turned off has been.
