It might be counter-productive to "clarify" this in the terms of service. Most never even get the idea to pull the "middle-man" stunt. Mentioning it in the TOS just gives everyone the idea.
On the other hand, one would sincerely hope that simply being "given the idea" would not be grounds for everyone to resort to cheating. Perhaps everyone ought to be vigilant, and check that they are indeed playing their opponent, and not a proxy.
