I have decided to give up playing chess, I'm not very good at it. I'm cancelling my membership.
Secondly you have only played 114 moves and only played and lost 4 games. This is too early to determine if you are good or bad. You need to stick with it, practice and you will improve.
By the way, why is your IQ relevant? Mine is way above yours but I don't shout about it!

Of course you are not very good at it - your IQ is too high.
One last try to get you to stay. Play over the following game.
If you do not marvel at it's beauty and it does not fill you with pleasure.
If you not get a desire to be able to create something
as magnificent as this - then farewell friend.
Aitkins - Jacobs, London 1915.
I've just played over this game again at work using the Fat Lady Winboard.
(thanks again you Tubby Tart)
It still gives me pleasure - and it's Friday.....yippee

Moreover, chess is a wonderful and enjoyable game as well as a useful tool even if one isn't necessarily good at it. Anyway, I enjoy tennis but do not consider myself good. However, one thing is for sure, giving up will never lead to improvements.

BTW: Is the melodrama necessary? Leaving or staying is your personal decision and there is no need for a post on the forum as if you're the center of the universe.

I've looked over your games. It's not that you're "not very good at it." It's that you've never learned basic strategy. You play opening moves like b3 and d3 and you move minor pieces twice for no reason before you've finished developing.
My advice: Read a few free online beginner resources and some basic strategy and tactics. I would even recommend shelling out a few bucks and buying Chessmaster - GM edition and spending a few hours watching their "academy" resources, especially Josh Waitzkin's lessons.
After all of that, you'll be able to determine whether you're good at the game and whether you like it.

Its not quite that good, and sex is better but not much else!
That game is still dazzling beyond my comprehension though.
Oh, given the choice between a tasty ale and watching that game, again, the game would collect dust. You missed one DF. Sex, stars & a good drink.
