I admit this is loosely related to the Chess forum. My polling pool *needs* to be more serious chess players, and I know a lot of you avoid the General forum like the plague, so I hope I don't offend anyone by this survey being here. I will post the results in a spreadsheet when I get 100 responses (or if this thread dies sooner). To the survey!
Whether you wear a watch or not, I want your response. Please choose one answer:
1) The watch I wear or carry most often is analog.
2) The watch I wear or carry most often is digital.
3) The watch I wear or carry most often is a combination of analog and digital.
4) I don't ever wear or carry a watch.
Thanks for your attention.

Originally posted by pinkthunderThe question, of course, is whether the type of watch you use tells anything about your mind. For me, practical reasons are the deciding factor, and it's more or less coincidence that I ended up with an analogue watch (I have used digital watches before, and might do so again if my current watch stops to work).
It's about the minds of more serious chess players, which we are.

Originally posted by MctaytoHow does a combo work, and what is its purpose? I never heard about this before.
I once had a combo but found myself not using the digital so from then on stuck to (1)
Edit: Oh, wait - maybe I misunderstood the whole thing, and this is about how the time is displayed, not about mechanical and electronic? In that case, I think all my watches have been analogue.
