So what Engine was Ironman actually using?
It must have been something pretty good I would imagine, if I recall out of about 500 games he only lost 1? If others were/are also using engines I presume this means he had the best engine by a long shot? Otherwise would he not lose some of his games?
If this is the case is it likely to be a commercial engine like Fritz or something special (deep blue or something)? Then again correct me if I am wrong but even deep blue did not always win.
If it is something special how did the Game Mods pattern match the games?
Has he made any comment, admitted it or denied it?
Such analysis is beyond my know how but it seems to me that even though secrecy is called for during an investigation, the full facts should be published after sentence has been handed down.
What percentage match? What games? What did he say when you banned him?
What engine was he using etc etc....
Justice must be done, but it must also be seen to be done.
I rather feel like the 'Secret Police' have come for these people in the night and they will never be seen again.
(Actually I thought my internet explorer had gone wrong when I did not see Ironman at the top of the list as normal, and after refreshing several times the world felt strange for a moment as I realised that I had not gone through some form of time warp).
Don’t get me wrong I did not know the bloke but I think visible justice rather the summary execution by a secret junta is a characteristic of society I would feel is worth fighting for.
