Is anybody out there?

For the third time recently, I received a challenge from a new player who then never made a responding move in the game. This latest person sent a couple challenges to other players, and ignored them also. What gives?

Yes, just move on. Long ago, I stopped playing new players because they do not honor their commitments. As previously stated, I stick to tournaments!
