This is a game I won on ICC, and while I am happy I got the win, I know that I could have finished it off earlier. A horrible blunder on whites part (16. Qh5??) played a big part in it. I am disappointed I did not notice 22. ... Bxe7 and played Kf7 instead. Anyone who can offer advice and tips here I appreciate it.

It looked as though you took turns blundering away. Not bad for that elo but try and play "solidly". Ask yourself :-
- who is threatening what?
- don't try to Queen pawns when you can mate him with the pieces you have got unless you want to lose on time.
Continue putting the effort, you'll be a strong player in no time.
Originally posted by z00tThanks! I thought promoting would help the mate, but as you point out when I look back, it wasn't necessary
