The Italian game is a classic . When I used to play 1) ... e5 I usually just played the Hungarian Defense.

The two nights and the fried liver is crazy enough as is (I play the d5, Na5 line) I woud hate to defend against an evans.

Möller Attack doesnt gives for white more than draw, if black knows theory.

I`m playing Italian Guicco Piano sometimes with Ruy Lopez structure - c3,d3, Nbd2 etc.

heck that's nothing, Gary Kasparov has played the italian game in tournaments more than once and is rated over 2800. (or was, not sure what he does now).

In fact Valdimir Kramnik has even played it in tournaments, and he's the WC!
