anyone on anything besides how they initially start a chessgame, which could go anywhere? 😕
i dont like kramnik. i dont know why any of you do. on another site it took to about the 35th post before someone said something positive about him. he didnt give the great kasparov a rematch (no class) and also cheated (also no class) with an engine, giving many of us ideas..
Originally posted by irontigranI agree with you about not giving the rematch, plus there's his "well you know a world championship won with a tournament means nothing bla bla", but please, you don't actually believe Topalov's BS, do you?

Originally posted by irontigranI'm guessing that you're just repeating the cr*p that Topalov's idiot manager, Danailov, came out with during and after the Kramnik / Topalov match.

If not, then please present any evidence you have - links, game analysis, opinions of other GMs - anything at all, that Kramnik has used an engine to cheat.
Kramnik's style is generally not very exciting, but that's one of the things that is great about chess, the fact that players with wildly different styles of play can compete in the same arena. If everyone played like Topalov, Geoff Chandler or Morozevich then chess would be much less interesting.
Edit:
I re-found a page which I read some time ago which gives very convincing evidence that Kramnik did not cheat in his match against Topalov:

One reason to like Kramnik is because he conducted himself as a gentleman and professional during the entire Loo Lunacy.
