As some of you may know, Larry Christiansen, 3 time US Champ, and probably the greatest attacking player the US has ever seen, plays material odds blitz against all comers, and depending on their rating, gives them different material odds. Based on my blitz rating, I get a knight. I thought this combination was absolutely sick, so here you go, Larry C at his finest. If you have any kind of chessbase engine, it should hand the piece odds for you, if not, just take off the b1 knight.

Bobby Fischer was clearly a better player, but I think Larry is definitely a better attacking player. Fischer was substantially better in his opening preparation and his technique, but give me a couple of hours and I will dig up Larry getting sick on some top US players, like you have never seen before. The man is a tactical machine, and creative as all get out.
Corkers:

http://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1088535 (Anytime you can crush Reshevsky in 28 moves…what an intuitive, brilliant sac)
http://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1088727 (An awesome win over Spassky. Great vision!)
Bonkers:

(Don't get me wrong - Larry is a great player but I thought these were kind of funny.)
http://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1088821 Qa5??; Nf6 and Black is fine I believe.
http://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1088557 Eeeeeeek. (How not to play as white in the opening; granted, this was a simul.)
Haha, I'm not bias because I played him, I have played lots of masters, if you watch this guy play, he's clearly got a gift for ripping peoples heads off. I have never seen any Fischer attacks that compare to some of Christiansens best.

That one is one of my favorites. So many amazing moves played in that game.

His absolute destruction of "Wojo".

This game contains a combination that is slightly flawed, although very creative and beautiful nonetheless.
Maybe I am building Christiansen up a little bit, but when I look at his games, I am always thinking, "Man...no one plays like this dude does.."
He played Bxh7 in about 1 second after I took on f6 with my knight. Insane.

Ouch! Well, at least it took a really, really big punch to knock you out!
Fischer's greatest all-out attacking wins came in his youth imo - in the candidate match and 1972 WC his style was more universal and the best games probably the positional wins. Also, compared to the other WCs, he clearly didn't have an extreme attacking style like Tal, Alekhine, or Kasparov did. (Did!) Also, in the 92 Spassky rematch his best win was the positional first game - although there was a nice attacking game versus a Sicilian as well.
On the other hand, Fischer was regularly playing against people who couldn't be attacked as easily as . . . ~Tony~ 😉
