    Yes. And it's not so much a problems book as a problem book - it's heavy enough to brain someone with. Man, that's one thick volume, and not small either. The only book I have which is heavier is my SOED. Good it might be, practical it is not.

    Yes, it has pretty much any mating pattern you can think of plus it has some polgar combinations in it.

    I had that book several eons ago. There's one section where they give hints. I didn't/don't care for that. Otherwise it's not too shabby.

    One of my favorites is by Leslie Ault "The Chess Tutor". All puzzles that start with the basics and moves right up. Very good
