At last round two is on it's way. I've been keeping a clear
table playing one game waiting for a pile of new games (20).

The chosen time scales were far too generous.
(1 day and 1 day timeout would have been better..for me)

Tournament 22106

Already in my section SeinfeldFan91 has just resigned
with no moves played v cenerentola & mihai52.
(what does he know that we don't?)

I'll plod on but my first thought was to resign them all. This time
scale is far too long for me. The fist round took over a year to complete.
I really need quick movers (OTB play) to spring my traps, tricks and thuggery.

But it's Tally Ho and up at em'. I've already sacked a piece after 4 moves.

I guess Ragwort knows the same thing. He resigned vs. Mihai52 and Cenerentola on move 1 as well.

These games finished several days ago.

Game 11689007
Game 11689011

If you look through Mihai52's games you'll see a history of this sort of thing happening against a wide variety of players.

Yes, I see Ragwort resigned his two after I posted.

I notice both have not made a move yet.

I'll hang on , I might bag me a couple skulls,

Yes, like GP I considered a first move withdrawal against everyone in this round, but have left it at those two for now. I'll enjoy the quick games and see about the remainder when it comes to it. As to the elephants in the room, both have been discussed on this forum before, and that is another reason not to dedicate that many short lifetime hours to moves.

I was thinking the same thing. I really tried in this tournament, but did not make it out of the first round. Kind of like when I played Mikelom!

The time is bit slow, which is good and bad,...mostly bad for me.

A few of the lads are galloping along with me but others.......🙁

Here is a possible swindled win.
