Considering two things: one, English is not your native language,
and two: Nobody here has heard of the "Morden" opening.
I suggest you show us documentation of some site using that term.
We have studied chess to a considerable degree here and if we are
wrong, then show us where that term is used.

Does it really mattar so much to you?? It exists alot better things to think about! And i can show you won thing:By the book "The Morden Dafence" and the book: "The c6 Morden" and: "Morden with c6" and the best of all: "tigers Morden" A book written by Tiger Hillarp Persson from Sweden about the a6 system Morden! They all call it the Morden and lets see.. Tiger is a Grand Master and that is all the other writers to! (If you dont count the "Morden with c6" he is International Master)
Yes i am from sweden But i can wrtie the name of my opening! It has many names! But the mostt normal ones is: The Morden, The Morden Defence and the Morden Opening! Its like the Pirc! (1. e4 d6) itsn called the Pirc OR the Yugoslavian opening!

I have played the Pirc as well but i dont klike the brutal way of meeting it with f4 as black the e5 move is just to dangerous! So i choosed the Modern instead and with the kn still on g8 e5 wont be a problem!

I've heard of the Modern Benoni and other Benoni variations (Benko Gambit + Franco Benoni + Czech Benoni) but I've never heard of an opening called the Morden . Can you please post the main line that is
used in most variations . (e.g. Sicilian : 1. e4 c5)

The Main line goes: 1. e4 g6 (The Modern) 2. d4 Bg7 3. Knc3 d6 4. f4 (thats the Main line, the most brutal line, th Austrian attack) and now tha main line is to play c6 but I raelly dont like thoose lines and to enter the Pirc with Knf6 is also an option but In thoose lines Black is Fighting for for 20 moves or so! So I play 4... a6 and thats the a6 Modern! a6 also works agaist other lines than f4 but thats the main line! Its called the Modern Becouse its Modern Thinking is Chess to let youre enemy build a strong center and than attack it from the flanks or head on! I hoped that anwerd youre thinkings?
