Opinions please on my move 44:
Game 1818449
I know I'd already done some disastrous things before that. What I want to know is, should I have exchanged queens when I had the chance? Would I have had a better chance of surviving if it was rook vs bishop & knight, or was I totally doomed anyway?
I'd actually been kind of hoping for a queen exchange a couple of times, and my opponent had avoided it. But when it came to the moment I chickened out completely.

Move 20! - you missed something.....
want a hint? :- it involves a check
EDIT: Oh hell, NOW I see it... with the bishop. That really ticks me off now. I knew I threw this game away, and there's the proof. He still could have got my queen in return if he played it right, but I would have been ahead on pieces.
Originally posted by orfeoI think he means 20. Qh8+ Kg6 21. Qxd8 and if 21. ... Rxd8 or Nxd8 22. Bh5 wins back the queen.

edit A second too late; although I don't know about "threw away" as he didn't need to put the queen on g6.
