Opinions please on my move 44:

I know I'd already done some disastrous things before that. What I want to know is, should I have exchanged queens when I had the chance? Would I have had a better chance of surviving if it was rook vs bishop & knight, or was I totally doomed anyway?

I'd actually been kind of hoping for a queen exchange a couple of times, and my opponent had avoided it. But when it came to the moment I chickened out completely.

You were doomed. Did you see that pawn mass? If you exchange, he can then sac his bishop or knight for your lone pawn and have 5 connected pawns + Knight or bishop vrs King and rook (an easy win)

Move 20! - you missed something.....

Move 44.....You were not only lost, but helpless and hopeless


white had a great chance and white missed it...pity really...

i think your 44th move is the best you have. that said, your position was simply so lost that there was no saving move...

there are thing for white to do on both moves 20, and 21

I saw Both, but I posted the Bf7+ because it a much more obvious mistake

what was your thinking behind move 21?
