I have found that the best way to win a siege is to starve them out. Actually the only useful info I can give you is to remember that a draw for white conquers the board.

I'm up the exchange with rampant f+g pawns bearing down on his underprotected king.

I hold several siege boards, the trick is to find a board that you are likely to be able to take. I try not to challenge the same player too often, and go after stronger players every now and again to maintain a balance. Sometimes you fail, and if you do get the board you'll lose it in the end - either a bigger fish comes along and takes it of you, or you'll make a lower rated player's day...

One strategy you could try is to persuade several hundred < 1,000 players to join the queue and then play r e a l l y s l o w l y 😉.
