Good idea.

random pairing - random colour - one game.
A big knock out 7 days no time bank.
Everyone on the site in whether they asked to or not.

I'd rater see one day with 7 day time bank.

7 day could result in two weeks per move. One game could easily last a year.

Everyone on the site Jeff?
There'd be hundreds of "non" games - a v b where neither player has moved for ever.
Maybe every active player on the site & the admins would have to send a message to all involved because so few of us read the forums that most would wonder what it was all about.
Also what about non subs with their full entitlement of current games?

I like this idea. Maybe subs only, with moves within the past month, say. But fast time limits please. I have posted elsewhere that I'd like to see annual RHP championship.

Hi Venda,

Maybe calm it down to everyone who has moved in the last 4 months.

I think Russ has a 'PM all' routine
Include non-subs.
Make it non-rated to encourage players to try that risky opening
they have always wanted to try. A fast time control. Random Draw.

If you click on "players" at the top of your screen it'll bring up a listby date last moved.
It also shows the number of players -over 10,000.
If you move along the tabs you'll se a lot haven't moved for a long time
A lot of these have left the site for a number of reasons and can be considered "inactive".
Unfortunately their accounts cannot be cancelled by themselves or RHP as that would impact on the games they have played against other players so thet simply just sit there forever.

a step in the right direction..but..as far as online tournaments go..make them all non-rated. or just not have any ratings at all..
