    "Gambiteers" like myself would much rather play the King's Gambit or the Danish Gambit rather than the Ruy Lopez. One's style will usually dictate one's opening choice.

    I like the King's Gambit... it can cause problems against a well-prepared opponent though. e.g. Fischer's Defence is always tricky.
