Credit to my opponent. GG! I am posting this because of the combination involved beginning at move 20. Discovered attack, fork. 22, discovered attack and decoy.
I think for me this represents the culmination of some of the knowledge I've amassed over my chess life in the last few years.
At move 15 I was in a bit of a pickle. Saw the black battery just waiting to rip my king side fortress a new one, had to strategically retreat my knight, which turned out to be a vital part of the combination that won me the game.
Any comments on the opening I used?
I've got to say that you can't help feeling a bit uninspired by white's opening. Not that is was bad, and it ended with a nice combination, but I don't know, it seems a bit unambitious to me. Something a little more aggressive might make it more likely for more combinations like this to come in the future.

I'm surprised Black missed 9. ... Bxh2+
or 7.Be2 8.Ne5... I had a few options.

I know it was a bit unambitious in the opening, I guess you could say I was aiming more for controlling the center with pieces instead of pawns. I thought this opening 1.Nf3 d5 2.b3 is great for securing the d4-e5 diagonal.

it's when the player plays unambitious chess from an unambitious
opening when it's get dull.
Slow openings by White can goad certain players into doing rash things
to 'get things going' (Me). But if that is White's only strategy and the
Black player does not bite....😴

8. e4 was essayed in Lacoacci-Mastropietro, Cecchina 1997 after 8. ... de4 9. Ne4 Ne4 10. Be4 Nf6 11. Qd3 white lost.
Curiously in searching for this variation I found that by move 4. there were some 54 games found blacks fourth gave 293 it diminished rapidly from there until move 8. ... Qc7 with 8. games. Never the less the rip to blacks queen side was worth the price of admission.
