Why is it so hard for people to understand the rule of not discussing games in progress?
Why is it so hard to wait until the game is finished?
Game 1989535 BAN ME! Look at the interesting opening choice. Oh my god I'm talking about it too! This could somehow aid my playing! Quick, ban me before others take my example!

In this particular case, White was correct that he had a won game. BUT, it wasn't a forced mate! Had we been unaware that the game was in progress, we could have pointed that fact out. His opponent could have read our posts, gotten out of the mate and played on and white may have blundered. Who knows?
That is why you don't discuss a game in progress!
Originally posted by FabianFnasThere is no such rule in the TOS. There is a rule about consulting third parties. Thats all.

LOTC has not consulted here, he has simply invited interested parties to look at his combo. Nothing more.
