it was in a Chess life article.
I remember reading about it at Chessbase, but can't find it. But here's another source: http://paulhoffman.wordpress.com/2007/07/25/grudge-game-today-nigel-short-v-gata-kamsky-2/
He was Nigel Short. I whupped him in the first game and he said he was warming up. I said, "omg a real GM!", he didn't deny it and said his real ELO was 2600 and asked me if I had a BCF rating. I got to play another game. He said he was gonna trash me. And I whupped him again. It really is Nigel Short! There's no other explanation for his bad play!
Wow that reminds me of the time I played this guy named robbie fisher or something along those lines. I smoked him like he was a mere 2700. Life is so strange isn't it?
