I feel Swisses are more entertaining to be a part of. But the occasional round robin is nice.

I didn't know it before I read that..althought there are some variations of swiss system, so It would be perfect if Malvinas could explain it better.

Seems pretty cut and dry to me. Winners with Winners, losers with losers. Tiebreaks if neccessary. 7 rounds means you play 7 games, unless there is an odd number of players, then you may get a half-point bye. This means that you don't play that round, but you accredited with half a point; just as if you drew.
