You and me both buddy. I can hold my own for a bit longer, but I've seen my opponents games and he is very good, certainly one of the better rating I have played against.

Don't ever judge someone by their rating, as long as they are class player, they have a slim chance of playing perfect, so an opening could come your way for a win. For example, this weekend I was in a tournament, and in the 3rd round I had to play someone 250 rating points higher then me...and he played like a patzer...game went like this if you want to play through it, I was white:
1. e4 e5
.Nf3 Nc6
.Bb5 d6
.d4 Bd7
.0-0 a6
.BxN BxB
.pxe5 Bxe4
.Rel Bf5?
.exd6+ Be6
.dxc7 Qxc7
.Ng5 Rd8
.NxB RxQ??
.NxQ++ Kd7
.RxR+ KxN
.Bf4+ Kc6
.Rd8 and black resigned in 8 more moves....whole game was 15 minutes, was the quickest tournament game I ever played..makes it kinda funny since black is a president of some chess club.....just goes to show you can't judge someone by a rating 😛
