Originally posted by tamuziit happens often to a lot of players. It is called "life". When you do not have time or nerves to play, you resign your games.
You resigned at least 30 games which were all in the middle of play dropping your rating. I don't get it, but I'm sorry, I really don't trust that.
EDIT : nice open invite you have 😛
Originally posted by Pigface1That is true. I played 1200-1300 because it is fastest way to rise your graph if you are way too underrated. I can not afford to blitz 20 games against 1600 players. I would lose very easily. When I manage to stabilize my rating I will play players of my own strength (well, hopefully)
You went from 900 - 1700 purely by beating 12-1300,s.... you have in the past beaten 15-1600s yet you spent dozens of games playing much weaker opponents...
This is probably why you dont get games, your graph looks really bad at a glance and just as bad after looking harder 🙂

And just how exactly are you going to stabilize your rating playing weaker opposition? If anything that will inflate your rating. To get a truly stable rating, you have to play people around your strength.
Playing means completing all the games you start not resigning (on move 3), being timed out or just playing idiot moves.
Originally posted by Dragon FireYou have a point. Somehow, though I always start way too many games here (considering that I do not enjoy mostly in CC games but rather in OTB ones), so when I can not manage them all, or I start to be addict junkie, I dramatically quit all the games 🙂

Those pesky Croatians, ohh wait I'm one.
we did have 2 games going way back, and you resigned them citing you were too busy and had no time (something about juggling 3 women at once) 😉
I used to use the open invites all the time but now I just play tournaments, I let the randomness of the site choose my opponents. This leaves my shirking time at work for making moves as opposed to looking for opponents.
