Maybe some day you'll be one of the best players on the site and somebody who's been on the site for a month will say you're a cheater because you're such a strong player!!
It's not jealousy, so get you and your buddies to quit PMing with harassment, if this continues, I will have a talk about Russ. . . You guys have no business PMing me with crap because you do not like my opinion about the topic at hand, which again, I did not start BTW. If you want to insult me, say it in front of my face.

It's totally stupid for me to be jealous of the top players anyways, because even if they were removed, I still wouldn't be the top player, man, I would have to get a lot of people banned to become a top player, so don't even start with "mateulose is going on a witch hunt to be number 1", because that's simply not true. I want to rid RHP of cheaters, not because I want to be no.1, it's so the best players really are the best players, compris?

RHP will always be filled with cheaters when ppl play denial and get attacked if they dare ask questions. Nobody is going to want to report any cheating if they have to go through the crappy PM's I went through for just an opinion about it. Jeeez, if I get attacked that much for merely having an opinion about one of the RHP "gods", imagine what some player would have to go through if he actually found evidence of such a players corruption and cheating. Will the accusers clans mates band together, threaten him, hack his computer? Doesn't seem outta wack after all I've been through for merely taking the negative side of an opinion. Were did you guys learn this anti-free speech from? G.W Bush? Typical.

For someone who wants to voice THEIR opinion, you sure don't seem to like it much when people voice THEIR opinion. I have no idea who's PMing you, but it ain't me or my non-existent buddies (me with buddies?? Get real) so you're barking up the wrong elm. You might not have started this nonsense, but you sure don't seem to want to let it go either. It was soooo much more amusing when you were crying about how bad you suck at chess while your rating was putting you in the top 10% on the site!!

The top players are the top players. If you have some proof that they are cheating, you PM or send feedback to the site admins with your proof and then it's up to them to handle it. If you have no proof except that the top players win a very high percentage of their games (what a shock!) then you have no proof and shouldn't be suggesting that they cheat. You assume that "RHP is filled with cheaters"; I don't and unless you have some proof, I say you're wrong and you shouldn't be accusing people of wrongdoing without evidence. You're free to say there's a lot of high rated players cheating; I'm free to say that you're being a jerk for saying so when you don't have a shred of factual evidence to support such an inflammatory accusation. Got it??

Of course the top players have a high winning percentage, there's no denying they are good players and will have a high winning percentage, duh indeed!

My suspicion rests with the players who never seem to lose and have hundreds of wins. Someone argued before that computers have an advantage over humans because they never get tired, well, that could be used as an argument that people do in fact cheat. Yes, I know in correspondance chess, you have all the time in the world to not get tired and be well rested, but what about being drunk? Computers never get drunk, humans do. If someone never losses, then I can assume they most likely never played a chess game while drunk.

And please don't say, "they know better not to play while drunk", because you don't, or "they never drink because they are angels sent from heaven", because they are not, or "they are so good that they can even beat good players and engines while drunk", possible in some scenarios, but not all. My record while drunk is a whoping 0-2-1, both losses against players way lower then me, and a draw against an opponent around my same rating, that I would of won if I didn't play some moves drunk.

It's becoming more and more ridiculous. Are you drunk?😀

You are joking, right? Somehow I just don't see the top players (or any serious players) pulling up to the computer with a mouse in one hand and a two liter of Jack Daniels in the other roaring, "Let's play some chess!"

That's insane. I've never played here drunk. Very few people, I think, get drunk and then go home and play chess. That's possibly the most extreme loser thing I can imagine, actually -- go out, party hard, and come home, dead drunk, to blunder away chess games.

Good luck on that. You might try solving world hunger first, since the degree of difficulty is about the same and world hunger actually matters.

And Paul, the worst thing is LOSING to someone who came home to play drunk...! Which I believe I have done on more than one occasion.

You know what would be even more of a loser thing than going out, getting drunk and coming home, dead drunk, to blunder away chess games? STAYING HOME, getting dead drunk and blundering away chess games!!!

EDIT: I have to admit lloydk came up with an even bigger loser thing than mine!!

I prefer the term 'self medicated'.

I look at some of the top players, and it's GM work, yet Russ claims there are no GM's here, so what is it? What's going on here? Help me, because if there is no cheating in the top 40, then please forgive me for being a little confused...🙄
How exactly can you recognize GM work?

"Customary" is not the right word.
