back to the stalemate vs. checkmate... i came up with something very easy to remember that saved a lot of points and won many big prize tournaments.
check yourself before you wreck yourself. in case you might forget to say it every 4 seconds in a game, simply say it on a tape recording and repeat it to your ipod.

it took me 2 weeks to get this player into c/mate, he still had 2 pawns, and my last move was c/mate, nailed on but when submitted the site stated STALEMATE. surely if the jobs been done then it should take precedent over stalemate, as obviously it wasn't any more!!!!!!
