You're too shallow with how you look at it and too static when this is not a static position so we cannot afford to have our pawn postponed for any amount of moves. 43...Ne1 is the only way, I have been analysing this position for hours upon hours and find nothing once the rook goes to h1. You find a sac possibility in one line so that you stubbornly adhere to it in the off chance that he plays that line. I applaude tomtom for finding ...Ne1 but nobody can seem to see how good it is! perhaps its because of his rating.

There is much more serious argument for Ne1... Until something changes, I vote Ne1

And I find nothing for us that is very good after Rd7....

    After 43... h4 44. Rd1 h3 45 Rh1 Nf4. There is many thing too look for, but why black should cry here. 46. c4 Kg7 47. c6 f6. thing just look as bad....

The line for Ne1, should be,,,

    43... Ne1 44. Rd7 Kg8, else it is draw.

    And now, etheir Nd6, Rxa7, f4, Nxa7 and Rd7 check.

from which, I think f4 has most sense.

And now, if we trie h4.. We get a draw after Rd2...

    Not much better, not worst.

I am just trying to defend the move I choose. i am not a god, but I believe that it is not bad.

Ne1, I see the sense, but does a draw is enough here.

I don't think we can really win with knight and rook versus, so, our goal will be to promote and get a free rook, as else, we could draw.

I look tonight, and it seem like a draw..

But it will eb harder for him to draw then for us.

A line after Rd1 and Rh1 end up with black being Knight and rook versus rook, but there is no winning line in that ending. with no pawns.

I say we got more chance then him, so, no draw for now, but it is drawish.
Ne1 and Nf4 were no better, both draw.
