    I think it's much more about how much of a risk taker a player is, than how strong you are.
    But those numbers don't take into account your OPPONENTS rating

    maybe. is it any different from other players though? I think not.

    I usually try to play only against higher rated players. can't help it when a tournament sets me against the lower rated, but it's usually only in the first round. I don't play open tournaments much for that reason.

    right now I have two 1800-1900s, one seasoned 1900-2000 (caissad4), but the rest are 2200-2300. oh, I do have one 1600.

    I can't really say for sure how it's been over time, but I think it was along those same lines. I just don't do draws. I rather win, or take a lesson with the beating and come back stronger. drawing is waste of time, unless it's from a losing position.

    Interesting. I suspected as much. I guess a really cool graph would be on 3 axes, rating, opponents rating, draw %.
