Still provisional and you joined in 2006? Players with provisional status scared the living daylights out of me because I did not know if they would drag the game on for months, donate pieces or simply be timed out. Get rid of that provisional status dude/dudess.

Take it to the personals forum spanky.

Back to the game, why not hit the resign button instead of a move like that Qxg2?

An engine would suggest QXg2 as the best move.

[Not suggesting that is the case here. Just pointing it out]

Maybe Qa8 would delay mate a little longer. I was actually being sarcastic as just pointlessly giving up pieces to delay the inevitable is the sort of thing an engine would do.

this i must say is very true, however, one must be prepared to be humbled! i tried this on this site, an experiment as i just wanted to 'taste', what it was like to play a much much higher rated human than myself, so i started some games with Cinco, a rather brilliant 2100+ rated player, paulbuchmanfromfics, a 1900+, rated player, at first i just got slaughtered, and just learned that i am not very good, which i knew anyway, but then I realized that while i could not overcome them, i could get a fairly, 'even game', up until a point, then i was overcome, however with Cinco especially, one wrong move or inaccuracy and i was history, and eventually i lost heart and became demoralized, and would just give up. the moral is, yes play players stronger than yourself, try to pick up on their ideas, but playing those much much stronger felt like a cat toying with an unsuspecting mouse!

Game 5606850 Not bad when my 14 y/o opponent donates his queen by moving too quickly and gives me 28 wins out of 28 games.

What possesses somebody to come on the forum and brag about it every time they win a game? All right, we get it. You're a good player. Congratulations. But most people couldn't care less what your record is. If they want to know your record, they'll click on your profile.

If you want to say once "Hey, I'm 30-0" Fine. But...

    "Hey, look... I'm 26-0"
    "Wow folks, 27-0"
    "Golly gee, I'm 28-0"
"Look at me everyone, I'm 29-0"
"Please, give me attention... I'm 30-0"

I know you're gonna rip me for saying this, so give me your best shot, but it's good advice: Just play your best, keep your head down and be humble. People will like you instead of ripping you every time you say something.
