been playing a year and 7 months i'm about 1600 to 1700 average.

im 1600 on this site, just started today.....but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night

I have played about 7 years and I am a 1650 both on this site and the USCF.

~9 years (active last 4 years) and RHP 1560. '🙁

I'm coming up on 40 years. Click on my name, and you'll see my rating here. USCF OTB is high 1600s.

3 years -- 1700, RHP

A little over a year, and I'm around 1550 here and on FICS.

Been playing for 5 months. rating now 1435 RHP but suspect will not get any much higher now.🙁

I've been playing actively for about 6 months (but used to play a lot) and I'm rated around 1600 RHP and 1450 USCF.

Seriously the length of time someone has been playing is not relevant.

My grade has been between 1700 and 2170 at one time or other over the past 42 years.

Edit: Correction over the past 40 years. For the first 2 years it was probably less than 1700 but I don't really know as I only got my first grading after playing for 6 years and that was 1850 when I won (on my first and only attempt) the 1st national Scholars Chamionship of Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe). At 13 after playing 2 years I won my High School chess championship but that was graded so don't really know what grade I had then.
