Now that we have pgn viewer, it will be much easier to look on the games, from this or other sites. Do not hesitate to post one short eye candy of yours !! Let's build a nice collection. It would be nice if you write the name of the opening, just for practical reasons so anyone can find the games of their interest and remember nasty tactical shots or opening traps.
Wow nice games. Like the nasty kingside attack in your first game. So, it is possible to deal with French defence fast and tactical after all 🙂
Against French I am playing 1.e4 e6 2. d4 d5 3. exd5 as white usually which is pretty drawish, but it avoids the main French lines. Is that a clearly inferior line ?

I doubt it will give an advocate of the French much trouble, in fact he may just thank you for freeing his white squared bishop! if you want some type of advantage play 3.Nc3, I myself love the French defence but I would rather die than give up my beautiful dark squared bishop, check this line, 1.e4 e6, 2.d4 d5, 3.Nc3 Nf6, 4.Bg5 Be7, 5.e5 Nfd7, 6.Bxe7 Qxe7, 7.f4 0-0. and my bishop is gone and white gets a 'positional', plus.

That is true but I am better in open games for now

The exchange French is clearly a less ambitious choice than the main lines, but I wouldn't say it's inferior. It depends on what you want. I like more unbalanced positions since it gives chances for quick wins should the opponent go astray [as in these two examples].

the best you could actually do in that game if black had taken the rook was a draw. when black stops the check with ...Bg5, Rh6+ isn't mate and you're down a lot of material. only possibility is to look for a perpetual, which by pure luck, exist. h4! is the move to prepare it. (with Rh5+ and Rg5+ etc.)
I'm really surprised how many people don't check out even their show-off games with an engine, which they should do for all their games, either they exhibit them or not.
