For some strange reason the FEN/PGN links aren't working so I'm just posting a link here. Long story short, i like to queen side castle as black. Feel it throws whites game plan off and I can gain momentum as they try to adjust. I was stuck in auto pilot trying to get thru the opening that I completely didn't notice the trouble he was preparing with his 9th move. Felt like I spent half the game 1 move away from mate, but with some calculated moves and a couple mistakes on my opponents part I was able to push him back. As he started to go into turtle mode, I started to wonder if I was going to be able to maintain the advantage with my comprised position. Somewhere leading up to the 33rd move I'd found the winning combo and my opponent played it perfectly. I hope you enjoy this little gem.

Why on earth would anyone report/complain about this post? Am I missing something?

EDIT: This may be some kind of technical glitch, as my post indicated 4 reports as soon as I posted it. Interesting.

Originally I thought it must be a sticky touch screen since, on the mobile view, the alert button is close to the screen edge where the fingers holding the phone curl round when scrolling. However that doesn't seem to explain their instant appearance.

Well played, after about move 12 or so. Just a point, but if you are going to castle queenside it's best to avoid weakening your pawn structure there with lots of pawn moves. 3. ... b6 is fine when followed by 4. ... Bb7, but I'd question 5. ... a6, since white's already moved the bishop once you don't have to worry about it going to b5 and absent you moving the queen pawn it's not obvious to me why he'd want to. I don't think 6. ... a6 achieves much, better to develop a kingside piece, aside from developing you want to keep white guessing about your castling intentions as long as possible.

One of the first chess books I ever read said"always try to castle Kings side -there is less space to protect"
Amother one of those general principles which doesn't always apply.
I always try and castle queenside as white when I play the London system IF my oppenent has castled Kingsside. It gives me the extra rook for the assault on his King

London System is solid, Castling opposite sides is always a case of who get's their first, a good way to attack.

More like a Blitz game than on-line. Unless I'm missing something White simply blundered with 21 Bh6 and could have resigned immediately.

White's position's a complete mess anyway and the queen is trapped. Black has better options such as Qc6, but if black responds as in the game it gets the queen out of a hole.

You may be right as I have not analysed it deeply but at a quick glance I thought that 21. Bb3 b5 22. c3saved the queen.

Not quite sure what the thread title means (and 32... Qxh2+ looks pretty good too).
