You can probably tell that I'm not a well informed chess player because
I do not know what QGD, QID , QGA and some others of that type mean. Most of you guys know.

Any body willing to help me understand?

I think these are abbreviations of some popular queen pawn openings. Queens Gambit Declined, Queens Indian Defense and Queens Gambit Accepted. Hope this helps a bit.
