I really like the mating pattern in the first 2. It took me ages to figure out the first time I saw it. It truly is a pattern worth knowing, as it's not very obvious.

Me too.

About ten years ago I bought a set of coasters ( "Drink Problems!" ) that had four piece mate in two puzzles that were surprisingly difficult. That mating pattern was featured in several.
