I was reading the March 2007 issue of Chess Life and there was an interesing article about a rare and complicated variation of the Sicilian (Grand Prix attack) that involves White sacrificing it's Queen on the 6th move in exchange for two minor pieces, long term pressure on Black, and a constant threat against the Black King. Here's what it looks like with Black to move.
After a few more moves, White will have the following position with Black to move:
The author goes on to explain that Fritz will always play for this position with the belief that it can defeat it's opponent with the material advantage and it usually loses. The author gives two sample games and a third one where he played this line as White against a soon-to-be GM in a tournament and won the game. Any thoughts and this variation and has anyone here played it before?

I've used this opening a lot.. it's been around for years, but no one has really thought much of it until fritz analyzed it. It gives you a full 2 pawn advantage by move 18 or something.
The opening is pretty interesting I've played 2 set position games here with it, although I resigned one of them because I didn't have the time to play it Game 3002017
Game 3005327
The opening moves are
1. e4 c5 2. f4 d5 3. Nf3 dxe4 4. Ng5 Nf6 5. Bc4 Bg4 6. Qxg4

I found out about it from a chesslecture.com lecture where a NM claims it's his idea and that there is nothing published on this variation..the video I believe is from 2006. The NM claims he analyzed the position thoroughly with fritz and played alot of games against it, he also says he believes the sacrifice to be sound, but the sacrifice dosen't give you a winning position just a slightly better one and +2 is a winning position. I don't know if you analyzed the position but I did with the help of rybka, before starting my 2 games here and after the games were finished and found no line that gives white such a huge advantage.
