My g/f won't stop chatting to me.
Shouldn't have moved at all, let alone in that game.
That's my worst, most ludicrous blunder yet. 5 pts up as well.

I wish people would start doing that against me... never have I had an opponent leave a rook or queen en prise. I've seen people leave some drop dead easy tactics but never a stupid blunder.

Well there are 3 lucky punters out there who got won games because I left my Q en prise.
I've also left a R hanging at least twice if memory serves.
What is it about human nature that you see the blunder the exact same moment as you hit the "submit move" button.
I'm sure this happens to some higher rated players as well, especially if they come back to a game after a while & don't look at it properly & do the threat checks or prophylaxis. They'd probably be too embarassed to show the games though...

Never again I tells ya!
Never again!

I should point out that alcohol had a part in the other 2 Q blunders.
I don't mix booze & chess anymore, even though it worked for Alekhine๐Ÿ˜‰

The funny thing is that your opponent resigned - after the way the game had gone, Black should definitely make White prove he knows the B+N checkmate.

It's never easy with the sharp games where you race to mate.

Game 3273410 A game which I think should have ended in a draw, however...

Game 3020222 I was taking a heavy beating and finally managed to put my queen to some good use.

I've been under pressure in tournaments but just laid aside my notation book, and won two games- in game one I managed a King from g1 manoeuvre to c2- I then queened my b-pawn. In another as a bishop and knight down I promptly took both his knights, a bishop, and forked his king and queen.
Never resign unless there is an obvious forced mate.
