Well I have read books to do with tactics, openings, and the endgame. Also read Aaraagards books "exelling in chess" series. I need some new books now though.

Anyone know some good ideas for me? I was thinking either chess in general or queen gambit/colle. Anyone got advice?

Soltis' Inner Game of Chess

Silman's How to Reassess Your Chess

Logical Chess Move by Move (author?)...this is also good for queen's gambit which you said you were interested in...

And more advanced...Vukovic's Art of Attack in Chess

Yasser Seirwans winning chess series is great. Winning chess openings, winning chess tactics, winning chess endings, etc... i think there are 5-6 books in the series.

I'm about halfway through "How to Reassess Your Chess" and I can honestly say it's one of the best (if not THE best) chess book I've ever read.

Try out The Amateur's Mind by Silman as well as How To Reassess... Logical Chess Move by Move is by Chernev I believe and is pretty good and I also agree that The Art of Attack by Vukovic is fantastic. Take a look at Pawn Power in Chess by Hans Kmock as well.

I will be the fourth to recomend Silman's How to Reassess Your Chess. His Amatures mind covers the exact same topics but in a less through way.
