I think the OP meant games on here.
Two 1200 lads on here played on with bare Kings for a total of...
10 moves? No
20 moves? No
50 moves? No
100 moves No
They played 131 bare king moves till one of them
eventually skulled out. Game 67345. A total of 196 moves.
You can tell it's two 1200 player's.
Move 131.Ke4 is an obvious endgame blunder. π
PS: one of the players is actually called: GrandMaster
The opening sentence in his profile:
"To die with honor in battle is better to be a coward and live."
Trying to win with bare Kings does inded show a fighting spirit that the rest
of us lack. And he did win when Black timed out.
My new RHP hero.
Originally posted by greenpawn34Thanks, I will try to hang for 200 moves to set a new RHP record. I love records.π΅

Might need more than 200. Here's the longest one I know of: Game 5003418
Since it was a 1/0 game, they kept hoping the other would time out eventually. I was disappointed with the draw. I thought white had a good position after driving black to the edge of the board on move 299.
Originally posted by greenpawn34lol... i'd love to think they were just enjoying the in-game chat that much that they didn't bother start a few game but i seriously doubt it. mAdness

I always dream I'm skipping through a field of brightly coloured flowers,
as in the song 'Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds', when suddenly the girl
with the Sun in her eyes appears and tells me to look at games.
Game 217237 and Game 228160 where the same Black player
User 35355 (who by the way has a brilliant avatar + profile picture),
twice walks into Legal's Mate.
Once with an early h6. Final position. game 217237.
So he tries an early a6. Final position game 228160.
So much for the theory that you learn from your losses. π
It's called Legal's Mate after a French lad, Kermur Sire De Legal
who caught a player with this in Paris 1750.
Sometimes I see a pink rabbit and when I follow it I come to an RHP site
with an updated database and a PGN moving thingy that let's Black go first.
....then I wake up and realise it was all a dream.
Originally posted by clandarkfireI think this is the game I. Nikolic - Arsovic : Belgrade, 1989.This did go to 269 moves and was drawn. This is the longest one I know of also.
I think the record for a game between masters is 269 moves for a draw, but I'm not sure who the players were.
Sorry, I see this just duplicates what has already been posted.
Originally posted by DeeceEverything came off in this one by move 54!! That's 260 moves with bare Ks
