Hi,

5,277 games started and 84 games have finished already.
White winning 50, Black 34. (no draws!)

1.e4 has been played 2219 times.
1.d4 has been played 1374 times.
1.c4 has been played 191 times.
1.f4 has been played 54 times.
1.g3 has been played 53 times.
1.Nf3 has been played 51 times.

And so it goes down till we reach:

1.f3 which has been played once.

There is another thread on the go at the moment called 'Horsing Around'.

As I've said Geoff, queens are a nuisance you're either protecting them, or protecting against them.
I think he resigned out of annoyance rather than the queen loss.

I don't know if a bunch of the players in my section all have the same book or are copying each other, but I feel like my section (58) is a thematic tournament at times!

I always seem to perform poorly in this tournament, but I sure do enjoy playing in it!
