Using the display board I will host a game between the members Red Hot Pawn and Chessmaster 10th Edition, man vs. machine. Chessmaster will be given 60 minuets to think. We will move by a vote. The move most voted for move will be played. This game will progress at 1 move per day so stay tuned. The color selection was decided by the flip of a coin and chessmaster is black.
My vote is E4
Okay we got:
2 for e4
1 for d4 or a3 (you have to make a choice no double voting!)
1 for a3.
Hc4 is not a legal move
The program will be using both endgame databases and opening books. It has access to over 70 different opening books. I am running it exactly as it is out of the box. It uses the The King version 3.33. My computer has an intel pentium 4 at 2.26GHz if you care...
Originally posted by blindcheesecakeAlright, I'll unite behind schakuhr, and go for a3 just to make things interesting. The merit of this is that we can now play as black, with a3 already played, and the computer out (or nearly out) of it's book.
