Two-knights Traxler variation is most fun for both I think.
Anyway Squelchbelch...........thought you would be playing in The Italian Game Thematic I suggested being such an Evens Gambit and FLA connesiuer!!!

I'd come out for a Morra thematic though😀
Originally posted by ChessJesterI would agree with the Ruy Lopez, I would disagree heavily with the Berlin. It's so boring, and the queens come off on move 10 or something! Lame- O.
Which opening do you believe provides the richest gameplay for both sides? meaning that the position is deep in both tactical and positional play with piece activity and excitement.
For me, I'd have to say the ruy lopez, berlin defence.
