Look, if any body part got nearly cut off and is dangling by blood vessels and a couple of strings of tissue, call a doctor. If it's not an emergency, like a bruising or something, just get a bloody ice pack. Or, hit yourself on the head to redirect the pain from the body part to somewhere else.
