I'm currently playing a game where my opponenet has a queen and no other major pieces and I have both my knights and both my bishops. He has 6 unadvanced pawns I have two. Who's favourite?

Please don't go searching for the game as it is progress.
Weare both evenly rated 1250 to 1300

In general, you have the advantage. Let us know how it concludes - post it when you're done.

I'm not so sure you have the advantage. It may be hard to corral his queen and it may also be difficult to grab the pawns w/o sacrificing a piece. If you go just by points then it would be 15-14 in favor of your opponent...And congradulations on the new baby!

Surely it's drawn, since there are no Kings.

Edit: I'm curious. Is an 'opponenet' your own word to describe an opponent over the Internet?

I think it also depends how well your king is protected., else he can just keep putting you in check and picking off your pieces one by one. Knights and bishops are easy to get that way when your king is open.

Open for negotiation. Maybe I'll auction it off. Do I have an opening bid?

Nobody should be committing on ANY game that is in progress!!!

The rules are clear on this point. The person can be influenced by other people's comments!

Yes asking who is ahead in this forum is about as honest as using fritz to decide whether or not to offer a draw!

It is wrong.
